Services for Charles R. 'Chuck' Snow, Jr., Topeka, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Rumsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Olsen officiating.
Mr. Snow was killed in an auto accident Friday night, November 10, 1978 near Salina. He grew up in Lawrence and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1968. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Topeka, a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, and in 1977 was a corrections officer for the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
Survivors include the wife, Deborah Jean, of the home in Topeka; one son, Joseph D., of the home; one daughter, Amy, of the home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Snow, Sr., Lawrence; and a sister, Janice Prager, Lawrence.
Friends may call at the Rumsey Funeral Home after 11 a.m.Monday up to the time of the service. Mr. Snow was a member of Capital Post No.1 of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 853, both of Topeka. VFW graveside services are planned in Lawrence.
Mr. Snow was an employee of Harding Glass Co. of Topeka.
