I'm coming close to retiring from my position as ER physician here in Stevens Point, Wisconsin where I've been since 1980. Went to KU after high school then on to KUMC and St. Luke's Hospital in KCMO.

Looking forward to retiring somewhere (probably Montana, it's warmer) with my wife, Kathy Powell to whom I've been married since 1980. She's a 1968 Topeka West grad.

We have one son, Bryce, who's a senior at Montana State University majoring in skiing, snowboarding, hiking, camping and officially, Fish and Wildlife.

Life's been good overall.
