After graduation in 1968, I went to Boulder to the University of Colorado, met my husband, Ned - an avid skier - and graduated in 1972. I then took a winter to "ski bum" in Aspen - so I could leaarn to ski and keep up with him. We moved to Southern California, married in 1975, have 3 wonderful children and have been in the Santa Barbara area for 30 years. In 1990 our house burned down in a Calaifornia wildfire and we spent about a year trying to put ourselves back together again, but we did it!. All of my adult life, I have worked in the restaurant business, doing the accounting and enjoying the "kids" who work there and the good food of the business. I am currently taking time off to paint, garden, enjoy seeeing my kids who are spread out around California, and to spend more time with Ned who retired about 9 years ago. Life has been good..... |
