Services are pending for Patrick A. Newman, 50, Plano, TX. He died Sunday, October 22, 2000 in Plano.

Mr. Newman was born February 22, 1950, in Emporia, KS, the son of Arthur E. and Helen Jean Alsop Newman. He was a 1968 graduate of Lawrence High School.

He was self-employed in the golf industry.

Mr. Newman married Sheryl Thomassen on July 3, 1987, in Lawrence. She survives of the home in Plano. Other survivors include a son, Chris, Plano, a brother, Michael, Lawrence; and a sister, Peggy Offill, Lawrence.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in McKinney, TX.
