A brief accounting of my life after LHS. I made an attempt at college at KU but academics was not in my future. I moved to California for a few years and worked in the building trades and moved back to KS during the economic recession of 1973 and took a job with Kansas Power & Light in Lawrence. I worked in Lawrence for the next 16 years and took a transfer to the Topeka operation center. My last day of work was May of 2011 after 37 years - I think that was enough. I married Joyce Jurergensen in December of 2001. After retiring we moved to Santa Fe New Mexico on November 21 of 2011 and love living here in the southwest. We travel, love to cruise and own a travel trailer that we go to just about anywhere we want and explore the surrounding areas.
